Hull Design & PROPUSAL

• V-shaped catamaran hull designed for enhanced stability and structural rigidity.
• Improvements over previous design:
  • Increased hull size for better buoyancy.
  • Added a chine to increase volume, hydrostatic force, and underwater displacement.
• Hull material: Fiberglass, chosen for balance of buoyancy, flexibility, and durability.
• Benefits:
  • Improved maneuverability.
  • Higher load-bearing capacity.
  • Reliable performance in varying conditions.
• Propulsion system:
  • Two T200 thrusters mounted at the rear of the ASV.
  • Provides control over surge, pitch, and yaw.
  • A more complex angled-thruster configuration was evaluated but rejected to reduce control complexity and maintain efficiency and reliability.
