MW project was founded in 2019 by a team of bright and enthusiastic engineering students, this team brings together a diverse set of specializations to create innovative Autonomous Surface Vehicles (ASVs) and Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs). From mechanical and electrical engineers to computer science and physics whizzes, the MW team leverages each member's unique strengths to tackle complex design challenges.
Throughout the years, members may have changed but our determination to improve MW is everlasting.
We are striving to push the physical and conceptual bounds of our autonomous vehicle by developing all aspects of the system, including navigation, computer vision, mechanical design and more !
By harnessing ASV's capabilities, we can efficiently collect data in hazardous or hard-to-reach maritime environments, enhancing our understanding of marine ecosystems and improving response times in emergency situations.
The future of submarine remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) promises an extraordinary leap forward in underwater exploration and scientific discovery.
Using feedback from last year competition, we did our best to avoid previous defects. The best is yet to come !
Students at all levels of undergraduate education are invited to participate in our teams to gain hands-on experience.
